This workbook contains extensive information on how to develop deaf-blind interpreting skills and to interact with deaf-blind consumers. In addition, the main topics focus on guiding techniques, deaf-blind culture, visual and environmental information, philosophy of empowerment, etiquette approach with deaf-blind individuals and more. The student readings and worksheets are included as it would provide some mental exercise. This workbook has been used as a curriculum in a class on deaf-blind interpreting at the Seattle Community College to teach students for the Interpreting Training Program.
